It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I posted anything. My computer gave me some trouble a little under a year ago, and I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall my OS. Thankfully, I had just backed up my photos before everything went down. That being said, I lost a lot of my edits so it has taken me a bit of time to work through them again. The positive thing in all of this is that I got to reacquaint myself with all my pictures.

Sunset at Salt River Canyon

The end of a day trip to the white mountains in Arizona. I've driven this road nearly a dozen times now, and I was headed through there just at the right time for a sunset shot.

Sunrise in a Park

Had some time early one morning this week (power was out), so I headed out before sunrise to see what I could find. Stopping by a local park, the sunrise was gorgeous. Below is what I found:

Constellation Orion

Taken during vacation this past Christmas. The constellation Orion is above the truck (the three stars that look something like a belt). You can see the Milky Way to the left of Orion very faintly. This was a stack of 5 photos taken with a 12mm F2.0 lens on a Canon EOS M system and then stacked in Affinity Photo.
